2024 Annual Unclaimed Funds Notice


NEW CASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE LAUNCH


TO ALL PROBATE PRACTITIONERS:

Please be advised that the Mahoning County Probate Court will be transitioning to a new case management Software System (called Enterprise Justice) that will go into effect on Monday, February 5, 2024. In preparation for this event, Court Personnel will be converting the existing data from our current software program to the new system starting at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  

 Therefore, I am asking that you not submit any filings until Monday, February 5, 2024 if at all possible. Any pleadings that are time sensitive should still be filed and will be date stamped as of the day of filing.  Just keep in mind that you will not see it on the court docket until after Monday, February 5, 2024; but it will still be considered filed as of the day it is timestamped.      

 Please be patient with the Court and its staff during this transition.  Initially, the Court will take some time to get its staff accustomed to the new case management program and then will launch the “e-File” component in the coming weeks.  

 For now, you may continue to file your pleadings in the manner that you are accustomed to (in person or via email).
