Ohio House Bill 404 - License Extensions
Mahoning County Dog Warden Dianne Fry and County Auditor Ralph Meacham are notifying residents that Ohio House Bill 404 (COVID-19 Government Responses) extends the period of validity of most licenses and permits issued by Ohio and Ohio subdivisions. Licenses scheduled to expire between March 9, 2020 and April 1, 2021 are now valid until July 1, 2021.
House Bill 404 does apply to Mahoning County dog licenses set to expire on February 28, 2021. These licenses can now be purchased until July 1, 2021 without penalty. After that date, the normal $20.00 penalty will apply.
Fees from Mahoning County dog licenses provide services to dog owners and their pets.
Licenses will be available online and at the normal outlets.
