 Mahoning SWCD Fall Fish Sale

 YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Local pond and lake owners, we are selling fingerling size fish to stock your pond.  We are offering 1” to 3” Fathead Minnows, 8-10” White Amur, 6” to 8” Japanese Koi. 2” to 3” Largemouth Bass,2-4” Bluegill, and 2-3” Yellow Perch, 4-5” Channel Catfish, 2-4” Hybrid Bluegill, and 2-4” Shell Crackers. Deadline for ordering is Friday September 24th and pick up will be Thursday, September 30th from 2:00pm – 3:00pm at the Canfield Fairgrounds.  On the day of pick up you will need to bring a lined container filled with your own pond water.  Fender’s will no longer provide boxes and bags for those who forget.  Five to eight gallons of water per 100 fish is required. The fish must be placed in a container with a liner large enough to be tied at the top. Please note only two White Amur to 5 gallons of water.  We are also offering Pond Conditioner, Optimal Fish Food and Pond Maintenance books.  To order, please call the MSWCD office at  (330) 740-7995 or you may obtain an order form here.
