Auditor Adds Levy Information to Website
Tax Rates Updated Also

Auditor Meacham has added a page to the Auditor’s website that shows the cost of levies to be voted on in May.

There are ten levies on the ballot for the May 3, 2022 primary election and the calculation of each of these levies is available on the Proposed Levies page of the County Auditor’s website.

Auditor Meacham states, “A local school district requested I provide the calculation for their proposed levy on my website. Providing this information helps the districts seeking the levies and provides the affected taxpayers with the amount of increase generated by the levies.  All ten proposed levies are included on the website.  I encourage taxpayers to visit the site for useful information on taxes and how tax receipts are spent.”

The Proposed Levies page will be updated before each election.

Additionally, a tax rate comparison schedule is available on the Financial Documents page.  This schedule provides the changes in effective tax rates between tax year 2020 and tax year 2021 by taxing district.
